RICHMOND, Va. (October 17, 2013) – College of Charleston freshman Laura Fuenfstueck and Delaware junior Amanda Terzian were named CAA Women’s Golfers of the Week after each leading their respective squads to team titles.

Fuenfstueck, earning the weekly honor for the second straight week, led CofC to a first-place team finish on the par 72, 5,987-yard Marsh Landing Country Club course. The rookie earned a second-place finish with a two-round score of 144 (74-70, E) after Monday’s third round was cancelled due to inclement weather in Ponte Verda Beach, Fla.

Terzian led the Blue Hens to a first-place finish at the Rutgers Invitational on the par 72, 6,034-yard Rutgers University Golf Course. The junior finished tied for second placed with a three-over-par 76-71—147, posting her lowest two-round total score as a Blue Hen. The team title is the second for Delaware this fall. Terzian also sequestered a career low in a round (71) and her second-place finish was the best of her career.
