Pairings Set For 2012 CAA Men's Soccer Championship

RICHMOND, Va. (November 2, 2012) - The pairings are set for the 2012 CAA Men's Soccer Championship following a competitive regular-season race which came to a close on Friday night.

In quarterfinal action on Monday, November 5, third-seeded James Madison (8-6-3 overall, 6-2-2 in CAA) hosts #6 UNCW (7-10-1 overall, 4-6 in CAA) and #4 Hofstra (11-5-2 overall, 5-4-1 in CAA) entertains #5 George Mason (11-6-1 overall, 4-5-1 in CAA).  Both quarterfinal contests will be played at 7 p.m. at their respective sites.

The semifinals and finals will be held November 9 and 11 at the Vidas Athletic Complex on the campus of Drexel University in Philadelphia. In Friday's semifinals, second-seeded Northeastern (11-2-4, 6-1-3 in CAA) meets the JMU/UNCW winner in the first semifinal at 5 p.m., and top-seeded Drexel (12-3-2 overall, 8-1-1 in CAA) faces the Hofstra/Mason winner at 7:30 p.m. The CAA championship game will be played on Sunday afternoon with a start time of 2 p.m.
