RICHMOND, Va. (Oct. 9, 2012) - Towson's Alex Cohen and Lyndsey Dickson have been named the CAA divers of the week, while teammate Kaitlin Burke has been named the CAA women's swimmer of the week. William & Mary swimmer Andrew Strait has been selected as the CAA men's swimmer of the week after record-breaking performances last weekend against the Tigers.

Cohen and Dickson both put up strong numbers in their first event of the season. Cohen scored 281.75 in the three-meter dive and 270.95 in the one-meter dive. Dickson qualified for NCAA zones in both the one and three-meter events with scores of 272 in the one-meter and 301.50 in the three-meter.

Burke won three freestyle events for Towson and helped lead her team to a 197-95 victory over William & Mary. She captured the 1,000-free with a time of 9:59.87 and the 200-free with a time of 1:50.45. Her final victory was in the 500-free with a time of 4:55.04.

Strait led the Tribe to a 191-89 victory over Towson by winning all three of his individual races and a relay. He swam 54.85 in the 100-yard breaststroke, which set a school record, was an NCAA "B" cut, and was the best time in the NCAA so far this season. Strait beat the existing W&M record by 1.34 seconds.

He also ranks fourth in the nation in the 200 yard breaststroke after posting a time of 2:04.28 and taking first place in the event. Strait also won the 200 IM with a time of 1:53.30, which is the seventh-best time in the country. He helped his 200 medley relay team post a winning time of 1:32.46, which is the fourth-best time in the NCAA.

Towson returns to the pool October 20 in a dual meet against Georgetown. William & Mary will return to the water next Friday in its first home dual meet against Mary Washington.
