QUICK HITS
ODU has won 22 or more games in seven of the past eight seasons and has advanced to postseason play for eight consecutive years. In his first season as a starter, Wright scored double figures 13 times and ranked 20th in the league in rebounding (5.2 rpg). Hill, a transfer from Clemson, averaged 11.2 ppg over the Monarchs' final five games. Batten netted at least seven points in ODU's final 11 contests. Painter made 18 starts for N.C. State over the past two seasons and contributed 6.2 ppg and 4.3 rpg in 2011-12. He scored nine points in the Pack's victory over San Diego State in the NCAA Tournament.

QUICK HITS
Damas ranked 18th in the CAA in scoring (12.5 ppg) last season and reached double figures in 22 games. He was also 19th in the league in rebounding (5.3 rpg). Walden started all 32 games as a freshman and was 9th in the CAA in assists (3.2 apg) and 13th in steals (1.3 spg). Three transfers from Big East schools should see immediate playing time - Benimon (Georgetown), Burwell (USF) and Dixon (Providence). Dixon made 68 starts for the Friars and played under Coach Skerry for two seasons when he was an assistant at Providence.

QUICK HITS
Thornton earned a spot on the CAA All-Rookie team after ranking 23rd in the league in scoring (11.1 ppg). He tallied double figures 18 times. After battling injuries early in the season, Rusthoven contributed 11.7 ppg and 7.6 rpg over his final six games. He's shot better than 54% from the floor in each of his first two seasons. Britt scored 11.8 ppg over the final stretch of six games. Rum made 38 three-pointers last season and shot better than 37% from beyond the arc. Gaillard, who started 18 games in 2010-11, should provide help on the wing after missing last season with an injury.
