RICHMOND, Va. (March 20, 2013) – Richmond’s Tracy Martin was selected CAA Women’s Golfer of the Week for the second time this spring after tying for fifth place at the C&F Bank Intercollegiate.
Martin led the Spiders to a second place team finish out of 28 groups on the par 71, 5,913-yard Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va. The senior carded rounds of 75-74—149 (+7) in the weather shortened tournament that was hosted by the College of William & Mary. Martin recorded her fourth-straight top 10 finish.
Delaware’s Amanda Terzian followed Martin placing eighth with a two-round total of 151 (75-76), and Martin’s teammate Caroline Lovette earned a tie for 15th with a 153 (78-75) total. Delaware finished in seventh with a team score of 621, while William & Mary followed tied for ninth. Towson and Hofstra also participated in the event.
