CAA MEN'S LACROSSE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Kaut earned CAA Player of the Week honors after picking up the win in
the goal in Penn State's 7-5 victory over Massachusetts. The junior goalkeeper
saved a season-high 16 of 21 shots on goal tallying a .762 save percentage. He
made 10 first half saves and picked up four stops in the third quarter. Kaut
also made two key saves in the fourth quarter to help preserve the Nittany Lion
victory. The five goals allowed was a season-low for Kaut and the 16 saves were
the most in league play for a single-game performance.
CAA MEN'S LACROSSE ROOKIES OF THE WEEK

Von Bargen was selected as the CAA Rookie of the Week after scoring
two goals in Hofstra's 10-5 win over Delaware to open conference action. von
Bargen scored the go-ahead goal in the first quarter off a pass from teammate
Sam Llinares and added an unassisted goal in the third quarter as part of an
eight goal run for the Pride. The Wantagh, N.Y. native has scored four goals in
his young career.

Swanick received
CAA Rookie of the Week honors after scoring three goals and recording an assist
in Saint Joseph's 12-7 win over Marquette. The freshman attacker helped
spearhead a SJU scoring spurt in the second period as he recorded two goals in
33 seconds and assisted in a third just 16 seconds later. Swanick completed his
hat trick with an insurance goal in the third stanza to help seal the Hawk
victory. The rookie leads Saint Joseph squad with 13 goals and 18 points this
season.
