received CAA Player of the Week honors after picking up the victory in the cage
during Hofstra's 8-7 upset win over No. 2 Notre Dame last week. The first-year
starter recorded a career-high 11 saves, including seven in the second half, to
preserve the Hofstra victory. On the season, the sophomore goalkeeper has
posted a 6.60 goals against average and a .577 save percentage with 45 saves
for the Pride.

Sanders earned his third CAA
Rookie of the Week nod after a six-point performance in Penn State's narrow
12-10 loss to No. 17 Lehigh. The freshman attacker scored five second half
goals and helped key a Nittany Lion 8-2 scoring run to erase a four-goal
halftime deficit. In his young career, Sanders leads Penn State with 18 goals
and 21 points this season. He also leads the CAA in goals per game (3.60) and
points per game (4.20).
