Pairings Set for 2013 CAA Women's Basketball Championship Presented By Jani-King
RICHMOND, Va. (March 6, 2013) - The pairings are set for the 2013 CAA
Women's Basketball Championship, presented by Jani-King, which will be held 14-17
at The Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro, Md.
First round action tips off at Noon on Thursday as #8 George Mason
takes on #9 UNCW.
In Friday's quarterfinals, top-seeded and nationally-ranked Delaware will
face the George Mason/UNCW winner at Noon, while #4 Northeastern will face #5
Hofstra at 2:30 p.m. In the 5 p.m. contest, #2 James Madison goes #7 Towson,
followed by #3 Drexel versus #6 William & Mary at 7:30 p.m.
The semifinals are set for 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, with
the championship game taking place at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 17.
All eight games of the CAA Women's Basketball Championship will be
available via various multimedia platforms.
Thursday's first-round game and Friday's quarterfinal contests will be
webstreamed on CAA.TV. The first
semifinal contest at 2:00 p.m. will be televised on Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic
PLUS, The Comcast Network-Philadelphia, Comcast SportsNet New England, Comcast
SportsNet Southeast and WECT (Wilmington, N.C.). The following semifinal will
be shown on Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic, Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia and
WECT. The championship game is scheduled
to be televised on Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic, The Comcast Network
Philadelphia, Comcast SportsNet New England, Comcast SportsNet Southeast and

CAA regular season schedule will come to a close on Saturday, March 9, when
UNCW will visit Northeastern for a game that was rescheduled from earlier this
season due to inclement weather.
