PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Jackie Cook • Old Dominion

Cook earns CAA Women's Basketball Player of the Week after leading the
Lady Monarchs to a 2-0 record on the week with wins over USC Upstate and former
CAA opponent VCU. The senior averaged team highs of 18.0 points and 7.5
rebounds per game. She opened the week scoring a career-high 24 points against
USC Upstate in 27 minutes of play on 83.3 percent shooting (10-of-12) from the
floor. Cook finished the week shooting 66.7 percent (14-for-21) from the field,
66.7 percent (4-for-6) from long range and 80 percent (4-for-5) from the
free-throw line. The senior missed tying her career-best by one in rebounds
with 10 boards against VCU on Saturday. Cook also added six assists, seven
steals and one block on the week for the Lady Monarchs.

Cole was named CAA
Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week after helping the Panthers to a home
victory over Jacksonville State on Wednesday.
The freshman scored 11 points in 15 minutes of play. She shot 50 percent
(4-for-8) from the floor, 40 percent (2-for-5) from the beyond the three-point
arc, and was perfect (1-for-1) from the free-throw line. Cole added four
rebounds, all on the defensive end of the floor, for the Panthers to go along
with one block.
