Hockey Player of the Week:
Christy Longacre, R-Jr., Back, Old Dominion
Longacre tallied two goals and four assists over the
weekend as ODU moved to 5-0 in league play and won their seventh consecutive
game. On Friday, she scored on a penalty corner and assisted on three other
Lady Monarch goals in Old Dominion's 11-0 win over Towson. On Sunday against
No. 18 Drexel, Longacre scored ODU's third goal off a penalty corner in the
22nd minute. She also assisted Kimberly Oakes' second goal of the game just
before half as the Lady Monarchs doubled up the Dragons, 4-2.

Hockey Player of the Week:
Crystal Poland, Sr., Forward, Northeastern
Poland made history for Northeastern last week against Harvard by
netting her 68th-career goal, setting the Huskies' all-time mark. She accrued
seven points (3g, 1a) last week including two game-winners to help NU to wins
over Harvard (4-1) on Wednesday and Delaware (5-0) on Friday. Poland leads the
CAA in goals (19), points (42), and game winning goals (7).

Hockey Rookie of the Week:
Sarah Breen, Fr., Forward, Old Dominion
Breen tallied five goals and an assist on Friday in
ODU's 11-0 win over Towson. The five goals scored in a single game are the most
of any CAA player this season, with three of her five goals on Friday coming
off penalty corners. Breen now leads the league in conference games in shots
(22), points (18), goals (6), and assists (6). She also leads the Lady Monarchs
with 10 goals and 27 points.

Four CAA schools are ranked
in this week's NFHCA Top 25 national poll (Old Dominion - 8, Northeastern - 10,
Drexel- 15, William & Mary - 21).
Northeastern goalie Lizzy
Priest has 42 career wins, earning her sole possession of third all-time in
program history.
ODU freshman Sarah Breen
scored five goals in the Lady Monarchs' win over Towson last Friday. The five
goals are the most scored by any CAA player in a single game this season.
Drexel midfielder Amanda
Fleischut tallied her second consecutive game-winning goal Friday night in the
Dragons' 4-3 win over William & Mary. Fleischut leads Drexel with three
game winners this season.
William & Mary clinched
its first winning season since 2006 with a 4-3 overtime victory over Towson
Sunday afternoon. The Tribe also clinched their first appearance in the CAA
Tournament since 2008 with the win.
Ten William & Mary
players have set new career highs in goals this season (excluding first year
players).
Following its win over #18
Drexel on Sunday, Old Dominion has won five matches over ranked opponents this
season.
Northeastern senior forward
Crystal Poland scored her 68th career goal last Wednesday in the Huskies' 4-1
win over Harvard to become the all-time leading goal scorer in Northeastern
history. She leads the CAA in goals scored with 19 and goals per game with
1.58. Poland is also just six points away from NU's all-time mark for points
with 157.
