UMass' Mike Fetterly CAA MEN'S LACROSSE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Fetterly, the second-straight UMass Minuteman to earn CAA Player of the Week honors, helped his squad remain undefeated and earn its first league win of the year. The senior scored twice in UMass' come-from-behind win at Penn State Saturday, 9-8, including the game-winner just over a minute into overtime. Fetterly has netted six goals and seven assists this season for the Minutemen.

 

 

 

Drexel's Ryan Belka CAA MEN'S LACROSSE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Belka helped the Dragons to a split of non-conference games last week and earned Rookie of the Week honors. The Crofton, Md., native scored twice and dished out two assists in a one-goal loss (12-11) to Bucknell Tuesday. He followed Tuesday's performance up with a goal on his only shot and added an assist in Drexel's 11-6 win at Mount St. Mary's Saturday.

 

 

 

Hofstra's Tyler Begley CAA MEN'S LACROSSE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Tyler Begley, Hofstra
Fr., A, East Islip, N.Y./East Eslip

Begley scored three of his five total goals on the season in the Pride's St. Patrick's Day win over Delaware, 13-5. The East Islip, N.Y., native also passed out an assist helping push his single-game point total to four. Begley now has five goals and two assists in six games this season for the Pride.
