Golf Weekly Honors - March 7

RICHMOND, Va. (November 7, 2012) - Georgia State's Charlotte Lorentzen received CAA Women's Golfer of the Week accolades after capturing medalist honors at the Hurricane Invitational. 

Lorentzen, a senior, won the Hurricane Invitational after carding rounds of 74-73-72-219 (+6) on the par-71 6,017 yard layout at Deering Bay Yacht and Country Club in Miami, Fla.

She claimed the individual championship with a 15-foot par putt on her final hole to claim a one stroke win over James Madison's Ginger Mak (+7). The victory was Lorentzen's third individual title in six events this year and fourth overall.

The Panthers finished third out of 16 teams in the event.
