CAA MEN'S LACROSSE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Dana Wilber, Drexel

Wilber was phenomenal on defense for the Dragons, who opened their season with a narrow one-goal loss, 9-8, to defending National Champion and top-ranked Virginia. The senior marked last season's Tewaaraton Award Winner, Steele Stanwick, and kept him out of the scoring column (no points) for just the fourth time in his career (54 games) dating back to 2009. Stanwick, watched by Wilber, managed only two shots on the day as neither were on goal.

 

CAA MEN'S LACROSSE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Pat Manley, Penn State
Fr., A, Arnold, Md./St. Mary's

Manley wins Rookie of the Week honors after helping lead the Nittany Lions to their first win of the season, 16-9, over Michigan at home. The frosh logged a goal and an assist in the victory, while also collecting a groundball and forcing a turnover.
