CAA MEN’S LACROSSE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jay Card, Hofstra
Sr., A, Caledon, Ontario/The Hill Academy
Card, one this week’s Player of the Week honorees, notched a season-best four goals and chipped in an assist to lead the Pride past No. 15 Massachusetts and into a tie for first in the CAA Saturday. The senior, recently named to the Tewaaraton Award list, also extended his consecutive game point and goal streak to 41 and 14, respectively.

Matthew Mackrides, Penn State
Jr., A, Newtown Square, Pa./Malvern Prep
Mackrides, another Player of the Week honoree, played an integral part in Penn State’s road-upset of No. 19 Delaware Saturday. The junior scored on four of his five shots on goal and added assist in the win. Defensively, Mackrides picked up five groundballs and helped limit the Blue Hens to just three goals.

Steven Bogert, Penn State
Fr., D, Carlsbad, Calif./La Costa Canyon
Bogert earned his first conference weekly honor following his role in the Nittany Lions’ road-upset of No. 19 Delaware Saturday -- vaulting Penn State into a first-place tie in the league standings. The rookie logged a team-high seven groundballs and helped limit UD to just three goals on a total of 39 shots (15 on goal).
