CAA MEN’S LACROSSE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Scott Perri, Drexel
Sr., A, Smithtown, N.Y./Smithtown
Perri earns his second Player of the Week honor this season after helping lead Drexel to a 14-13 win at Penn State Saturday. Perri notched three goals, all in the first half, and spread out five assists for the Dragons. His eight points marked a game-high as well as a single-game season-best. The senior currently leads the league in all three offensive categories (G-29, A-21 & P-50).
CAA MEN’S LACROSSE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Shane Sturgis, Penn State
Fr., A, Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown East
Sturgis helped pace Penn State this weekend with a goal and three assists in a narrow one-goal loss at home to Drexel. The frosh, who earned his second Rookie of the Week honor, has passed out 15 assists this season -- good for third in the league. Sturgis’ 30 total points on the year is tied for fith-best among conference leaders.
