DRAGONS HELP SUPPORT NEW COMMUNITY LIBRARY
PHILADELPHIA - The Drexel Student-Athlete
Advisory Committee (SAAC) collected nearly 100 books for the Mantua Haverford
Community Center as it begins to build a library for pre-kindergarten
through eighth-grade children in the immediate community surrounding
Drexel University.
In keeping with President Fry's neighborhood
initiative vision, Drexel Athletics supported the University's efforts to make
November's "Build a Community Library" month a complete success. Student-athletes
helped by collecting new and gently used children's books and videos
for pre-kindergarten through eighth-grade children.
