TIGERS LEND A HAND AT CHILDREN?S CHRISTMAS EVENT
TOWSON, Md. -
Members of the Towson University men's basketball team and staff will help to
spread holiday cheer among Baltimore City children on Christmas Eve when they
take part in an event at the Cecil Kirk Recreation Center.
The
event is part of the after school program coordinated by Cecil Kirk director
Anthony Lewis in conjunction with the Baltimore City Department of Recreation
and Parks. Approximately 100 pre K through 5th graders are expected
to attend.
The
Tigers will assist with the presentation of gifts along with photo and
autograph signing sessions.
"Cecil
Kirk has one of the most extensive after school programs in Baltimore
City," said head coach Pat Kennedy. "We're looking forward to adding
some special Christmas cheer to these wonderful children."
