BINGHAMTON LEADS CAA WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIP AFTER DAY ONE
LAWRENCEVILLE,
N.J. - With five wrestlers in the finals and five alive in consolations, Binghamton leads after the first day of the 2010 Colonial Athletic Association
Wrestling Championship, hosted by Rider University.
Binghamton leads the pack with 64.5 points, followed by pre-tournament favorite Old Dominion with 55 points. Eight-time defending champion Hofstra is in third (35.5), while Drexel (32.5) and Rider (31) are close behind.
George Mason (23), Boston University (16), and Sacred Heart (6.5) round out the eight-team field.
The Monarchs have four wrestlers in the finals and six in consolations and is in
second place, while the Pride of Hofstra have three in the finals and four in consolations for
third place.
